the top side of the same bed. I like the way the rocks look with the greenery.

in front of the same bed.

picture of the rocks Alex and I collected to outline the bed at the waterfall. (the deep end of the pool).

this is a rock Kristina painted into a flower. we waited for it to dry, and she will paint more on it. ill take another picture of it when its done. :)

this is in front of the ladybug club. 2 pepper plants, one cherry tomato, and by the arbor, some parsley

there is the ladybug club.

Kristina's little marigold plant under the ladybug garden stake. and the ladybug rocks guarding the marigold.

here is the arbor with the tomato plants hanging upside down in the planters

here is the stones we got yesterday for free!!! we painted the first coat of red on some of the ones that will be ladybugs. we painted some pink (Kristina mixed red and white together to make pink--she is so smart!)

Here sit 2 cute little ladybugs under the maple tree we planted last fall. They are waiting for the daisies to grow..

the side of the deck. hanging are pink petunias, on the deck fence are purple clematis

more planters...

here are some of the planters i made yesterday for on the deck steps

this is my mother's day flower plantar. Andrew got me the dahlia, the red flowers in the middle. and Kristina brought home some lavendar petunias.

more ladybugs...

arent they cute? we have to let the black dry before the next step.

The red is dry, adding black spots and faces now

Putting the finishing touches on the base coat

Kristina is painting the first few rocks we got. they are going to be cute ladybugs.
The paint needs time to dry, so she did the red basecoat first

This picture shows the stepping stones I placed to access the garden and to walk through the gate to the back yard using the walkway.
We're starting a new garden. Since putting the pool in the back yard, we've had to relocate the garden to the side of the house. This picture shows the garden after the topsoil was spread.
